When I was 6 years old I wanted to be an artist. Maybe it was growing up in Los Angeles.
I was visually aware of all the sights and sounds around me. The bright colors and sunshine were a big influence. I wanted to draw everything and it continues to this day.
After attending UCLA, I landed a job as a graphic designer in the fashion industry. After that, I went to work in the entertainment field doing print work for the major studios. It was exciting to help create movie campaigns and I learned alot about the advertising business.
One of my passions is L.A. I continue to be awestruck by the awesomeness of this city! So much to see, so much to make fun of! From our celebrity culture to our celebrated freeways (405 and 101, I’m talking to you).
Being an L.A. native is my excuse to poke fun at everything and everyone. I continue to work on my LAstyle cards which offer a humorous look at life in L.A. Whenever I’m stuck on the freeway or trying to avoid the next freeway car chase, I look for my next inspiration.
